Relationships - We are born with our blood relations. Those of our own making begin when we start living, sometimes they turn out to be real short term like the ones made in a journey, while others last longer - a whole life time maybe. Then there is the third kind which we enter into a contract for - our businesses, jobs, professions. I believe that of all these only those which are bound by love and mutual trust have any hopes of impacting our lives in a positive way. We can keep on dragging the others but they are more like the cross on our shoulder or the caracass of what may have been a great relationship once.
Agreed that we can't easily wriggle out of relations we are born with as they are of not our choosing, but the conditions of being full of love and mutual trust is applicable on them too just as they are valid on those which are created out of a contract. Imagine a snobbish relative in your family or a troublesome colleague or subordinate at work and you will understand what I mean - you can't have a fruitful relationship just because it says so on a piece of paper or on your family tree.
